Barbara makes the majority of our puppets and has put together a 'Blue Peter' type of presentation that shows clearly how a puppet is put together. This usually provokes lots of questions and at the end of the lesson the children can have a go at manipulation and lip-sync with small purpose built puppets.

 

Alternatively children can have a go at making their own puppets. This can be done so that they can show younger pupils how to make puppets at a later time with their class teacher. These are usually made with paper bags, as stick puppets, or as a traditional pop up puppet.
