Exploring Christianity Through The Arts

We are currently running 2 arts projects - Jonah the Groaner and Creation.

Both run over 3 x1 1/2 hour sessions either 3 afternoons/mornings or one and a half days. Jonah ends in a performance, and creation ends with a celebration of work. We would encourage schools to invite parents to see these, along with other chidlren from school. Children make all the scenery, origami hats, props etc as part of their learnign experience. The story and it's meaning are explained and there is chance for the children to ask questions about the story and also about the Christian faith. A class teacher and support assistant are needed to help us, and class management remains the responsibility of the teacher.

We are looking at Noah for our next arts project. This should be available from 2012.

The cost for the project is £300. School is asked to provide some art materials required.
